The Cougars and Lady Cougars Cross Country team competed in their first meet of the season yesterday at Jim Ned. This was a very competitive meet with some of the top 3A schools. Our Varsity girls placed 3rd over all! Kyle Abilez placed 9th for Varsity boys. Joe Lozano placed 4th and Cole Nelle placed 6th for JV boys. Sina Hohendorf placed 6th for JV girls.
We took 22 kids to compete and there were lots of PR's were made. We are super proud of everyone that competed!!
Also a great shout out from the Jim Ned coach, Coach Allen!
They are ready to chase greatness!!
Varsity Lady Cougar wrapped up in Big Spring winning the consolation Gold bracket! They fought hard against Midland Trinity but despite their best game EVER they split sets but lost in 3. They got a rematch against Ballinger and fought back and won in 3 sets! Their determination and grit is unmatched. They continue to improve each game. Way to go ladies! 🙌🏻🏐🐾
JV girls split games today during pool play in Big Spring. The beat Kermit but fell in awesome games to Big Spring and Forsan. They are sitting in the JV Silver bracket and have games tomorrow at 3:00, 4:00 and possibly 6:00.
