As tough as it is to say the 2026 CHS golf season has come to an end. We would like to congratulate the Cougar and Lady Cougar Golf Teams on an awesome season. All golfer represented Christoval well over the course of the last 7 days with 134 total golfers in a very close 2A District 7 golf tournament at Quicksands Golf Course. Each Christoval player competed at a high level and showed great sportsmanship.
Overall, the two Boy's Team finished 5th and 9th overall. The Girl's finished 5th overall. Throughout the season we saw many hit personal bests and overcame some many adversities while playing one of the most challenging sports there is.
Individually:
Freshman-Easton Barta fished 6th overall and is an Alternate for the Regional Tournament.
Senior- Camden Balderas finished 8th overall.
Senior- Hayden Jost finished Tied for 9th overall.

Congratulations to Isreal Bogs on his college acceptances .

Good luck to our boy's and girl's Christoval Golf Teams today as they are competing at the 2nd Round of District 7 2A tournament.

Congratulations to Sophia Nemec on being named TABC All-Region, TGCA All-State and TGCA Academic All-State!

As the 1st round of the District Golf Tournament for District 7 2A has finished it is still a close race. The Cougars and Lady Cougars Golf Teams competed well and looked to finish strong next week as the tournament continues next Monday.
The Cougars have Freshman- Easton Barta and Senior- Hayden Jost in the Top 10 out of 59 total golfers and look to compete for a district title. The Lady Cougars continue to make strides and look forward for the next round to close the gap.
