Congratulations to Sophia Nemec on being named Christoval High School Class of 2026 Valedictorian. She is the daughter of James and Kristin Nemec and has attended Christoval ISD since Kindergarten. Sophia as been actively involved in athletics, band, FCA, OAP, NHS, and UIL throughout her high school career. She enjoys volunteering at church and with Cougar Club. Following graduation, she plans to attend Angelo State University to pursue a degree in pre-med and eventually be a cariologist.

Congratulations to Alesia Hovorak on being named the 2026 Salutatorian for Christoval High School . She is the daughter of Jon and Tracy Hovorak. Alesia has been active in NHS, Deca, Student Council, UIL, Band and OAP. She also volunteers with the Elks and West Texas Rehab. Following graduation she plans to attend Texas State University to earn a degree in exercise and sports science. The will then go on to be a Physical Therapist.

A Honor Roll luncheon today! Thank you to Matt and Hollie Garcia for sponsoring the luncheon.

Our 2nd graders had a great time visiting Fort Concho today! They stepped back in time to learn what life was like as a soldier and explored the old school and hospital. Such a fun and memorable experience!

Mark your calendars! The Academic Banquets will take place on Monday, May 18th. High School will begin at 9 am. Middle School will begin at 2 pm. Invitations to follow.

Our 4th graders have been working so hard preparing for the STAAR test,and today we celebrated after the last test!

Thank you to the people who have already donated! We greatly appreciate it! We are still looking for support and donations for next week! Donations can be dropped off in the high school office.
